The NCOC meeting on lockdown will be held today
In view of the rise in the third wave of corona virus, the important meeting of the NCOC will be held again today in which the situation of increasing cases of corona will be reviewed.
The meeting will consider tightening the lockdown to prevent coronation, while the decision to close the transport will be taken after consultation with the provinces.
All indoor and outdoor events were banned in yesterday’s meeting.
On the other hand, a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Corona Virus chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar will be held today in which measures to deal with Corona virus will be considered.
Provincial Ministers Raja Basharat, Dr. Yasmeen and other senior officials will attend the meeting while senior military officials will attend the meeting through video link.
Divisional Commissioners will also attend the meeting through video link. The Chief Minister will brief the media regarding the decisions of the Punjab meeting.

According to the NCOC, the third wave of corona virus continues to increase positive cases. In the last 24 hours, 4,252 cases were reported while 41 people died. After the new deaths, the total number of deaths from corona rose to 14,256.
During the 24 hours, 40,369 krona were tested out of which 4,525 were positive. At present, there are 46,663 active cases in the country.
According to the National Command and Operations Center, the virus is spreading rapidly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The rate of new cases in Swat was recorded at 22%. The proportion of new cases is 22% in Peshawar, 19% in Nowshera, 17% in Lahore and 15% in Rawalpindi. The proportion is more than 10% in about 10 big cities.
