The discovery of new cells in the bones will pave the way for healing
Australia: A brand new type of cell has been discovered in the human skeleton. Understanding this will not only help us to better understand arthritis, joint pain, osteoporosis and other ailments, but will also pave the way for new treatments.
Experts from the University of South Wales, Australia, have looked at each part of the human skeleton through a microscope. In this effort, they have seen a cell in the bones that science was still unaware of. This cell opens and closes many types of genes, meaning it can be active at the genetic level.
