Sweden, Latvia and Venezuela also banned the use of AstraZeneca
Sweden, Latvia and Venezuela also joined the more than 12 European countries that banned the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
The Canadian Advisory Committee has declared the AstraZeneca vaccine safe for people over the age of 65, after the committee previously opposed the vaccine.
The panel said the previous decision was changed in light of three recent public survey reports.
The European Medicines Agency has ruled out the possibility of blood clots from the AstraZeneca vaccine, saying the incidence of blood clots during clinical trials of the vaccine is extremely low, but the European Medicines Agency’s safety committee will report tomorrow.
Pfizer Bio-Tech and Moderna, on the other hand, began testing the corona vaccine on children aged 6 months to 12 years, while Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca are also testing the effects of the vaccine on children under 6.
