Saudi government announces corona vaccine
Riyadh: The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has clarified the procedure for approving the corona vaccine to the satisfaction of locals and expatriates.
According to Saudi media, Abrar al-Musharraf, head of the Department of Infectious Diseases Prevention at the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, said that the SFDA tests the vaccine before it is approved for use. Vaccines are registered in the country.
Abrar-ul-Musharraf says that different types of vaccines were brought to our laboratory, each of which was fully tested according to the prescribed system.
Corona vaccines are being tested extensively, he said. For example, an attempt is made to find out how effective this vaccine is. It is also used to determine if the effective substance in the vaccine is actually present.
In addition, an experiment is done that its use will not have any side effects.
Abrar al-Musharraf added that vaccine preservatives are also being tested. After undergoing all these tests, the vaccine is licensed to be imported to Saudi Arabia.
