Good sleep is useful for heart health
Texas: It is usually said that good sleep is extremely beneficial for health and now scientists have also sealed it.
The world’s major cardiologists have also included a sleep period in the basic steps that keep the heart.
According to the American Heart Association, the best sleep duration for a healthy heart is between seven and nine hours.
In 2010, the company published a list of seven steps for good health, called ‘Life’s Simple 7’. These factors included a healthy diet, constant exercise and smoking.
The list has improved over time, but it increases sleep advice, for the first time there is a addition to the list.
Dr. Donald Lid Jones, president of the company, said the move on sleep is in view of the latest research on cardiovascular disease.
He said that sleep affects full health, people who get healthy sleep can avoid weight, blood pressure or type 2 diabetes.
He added that the new technology can tell people about their sleep at home, which means that they can now be told what they need to focus on improving the health of the heart.
