MADRID: Tourism in 69 countries around the world, including Saudi Arabia, has been suspended due to the spread of the Corona epidemic.
According to a report released by the World Tourism Organization, tourism has been banned in 69 countries around the world, including Saudi Arabia, to curb the spread of the corona epidemic.
According to the report, since February 2021, 32% of the world’s countries have stopped world tourism. Of these, 38% are closed for at least 40 weeks, while 34% are partially closed to world tourism.
Countries where tourism is banned include 30 percent from Asia and the Pacific, 15 percent from Europe, 11 percent from Africa and 10 percent from the United States, and three countries from the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia. According to the World Tourism Organization, due to the constant threat of epidemics, the governments of different countries are taking more cautious measures.
